Excellent post. I really liked this one.

Pro tip: for virality, I suggest making something that can be worn by dogs or babies. Everyone’s always looking for an excuse to publicly share photos of their dogs and babies.

This is great! I love the breakdowns and analysis - especially the advice to remove jargon, build community, have icons and involve your fans in the journey. And yes, Lenny is amazing at fostering community interaction!

Speaking of fans, or fun, or fun fans: I just started a gag comic strip, "It's ALL (owl) Good Times" that I'd like to build a fan base 🥳 for:

Anyone here want to read something funny with funny pictures?

it’s funny how similar these methods are to organized religion and how Christianity spread.

Remove barriers to entry: Gutenberg Bible being translated from Latin to multiple languages

Spotlight individuals, not just the group: Disciples and saints of every flavor you can pray to

Connect fandom to community and identity: they gather every Sunday, people have tattoos of Jesus and the cross. Fandom are different sects within Christianity (Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, etc) Strategic swag are rosary beads to keep DAU up in between the WAU

Bring people into the process: The Bible is a crowdsourced story of how religion began and the people who helped build it, their failures, and wins.

When I noticed scrambled words in the 'burn corporate' image, I immediately jumped to the conclusion it must be Stable Diffusion(AI generated). lol. I wish Google releases the model weights for their Imagen model, which works well with text
